My love of food and cooking came from my father who was in the restaurant and hospitality business. Having trained in food and fine dining for three years (I was previously a nurse) I opened Worcestershire Cookery in 1990, inviting people into my purpose built kitchen to demonstrate delicious and impressive dishes for all occasions and skill levels. I also invited chefs to come and show off their skills. Two years later after many requests I started catering for many different events.
I have had the pleasure of cooking for Queen Elizabeth II during her Golden Jubilee tour, Members of Parliament, Shaun Hill and Mary Berry to name a few. I have also food styled for several cookery books and co-published the cookery book “Tasting England” which showcases a selection of mine and my colleague Jenny’s favourite recipes.
I cook 99% of my food from scratch using the freshest seasonal ingredients including meat and fish from our local butchers who have been in business for over 100 years. All the food is prepared in my five star rated kitchen 15 minutes from the centre of Worcester and the M5.
I love meeting different people and helping them to create their perfect event whether for 10 or 200 guests. With over 25 years’ experience you can be confident that we will create delicious food that will wow your guests and add that extra sparkle to your special event.
